Trend Windows has taken out the Most Innovative Window System Award with Trend thermAL at the recent Australian Window Association (AWA) National Conference held at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast.
The AWA Design Awards recognise the efforts of manufacturers and suppliers to the fenestration industry that excel in the production and promotion of windows and doors through exciting innovation.
The Awards aim to provide a professional showcase for window systems to raise the awareness, profile and interest in AWA members and to differentiate them from others.
Trend had undertaken extensive research and development to meet amendments to the building codes for a more energy efficient future by producing Trend thermAL, an advanced energy efficient product that not only exceeds this code but is cost effective, clearly surpassing any other product on the market.
Trend thermAL is a revolutionary Hybrid product utilising the strength of Aluminium combined with ERP™, a new state of the art patented Rigid Extruded Polymer to create an extremely energy efficient product for all climates in Australia. When compared to existing older technologies, Trend thermAL is a very cost effective solution to the growing energy efficiency discussion.
Trend thermAL is designed to accommodate 26mm double glazed units for maximum energy efficiency. With over 60 types of glazing available there will be one that suits every situation.
Trend thermAL can be integrated with the exterior powder coated finishes different to the interior ERP surface to allow for design and aesthetics. This allows for bold statements for the exterior while subtle interior colours can complement interior designs.
